A couple of days ago I fell across a blog called Project 365 and have been contemplating starting it ever since, it basically is a photography project where you take a photo every day for a year.

Is there anyone here who is participating in the project, here is the
link to it

Thats a pretty cool way to reflect back on your life for a whole year. Seems like a well worth commitment and I think you should go for it.

Yes I have been participating in the project but unfortunately had to put it on hold because I became sick - but now that I am getting better I am starting back up - it is interesting to be involved in it - I recommend trying it -
Peace~~

Glad to hear you are getting better Ellie, will hopefully be starting this next Monday, as i start an evening course for Short Story Writing, so it will be a good excuse to stop being scared of the camera. Thanks for your comment Shawn

Good Luck with your writing course - sounds interesting!!! there are days that I got stuck - did not know what to take a picture of - so there were hints from other people who are doing the project - the best one I found for example is to take an object like a stuffed animal or little statue or something - and take it places and take its picture at different places (of course you would have to make sure it is obvious that it is at different places) before you know it - you will be taking pictures of everything around you ( your world) take pictures of your school, your desk, your books etc - you get the idea...then before you know it - it will become second hand and so much fun - the only rule I found is to take your camera everywhere with you - after a while it will become a natural thing to take along!
Don't forget to share your pictures!!

Hi Ellie, yeah i have a place to post them thats open, Edinburgh, where I live, has great architecture and scenery which has always been fascinating to me so I dont think I will be stuck for stuff to take and then when I run out of scenery there is always people. Hopefully my photography will improve as I am a bit scared of my new camera at the moment.
